Not only milk and dairy products as demonstrated by my own business Malmesbury Syrups. Idea generation, testing, development of packaging, product specification, processing and the overall marketing are all areas of expertise including a list of contacts and associations that help speed things along and keep the costs down

Developing, registering and promoting brands

Contract packing
Access to contract packing operation that will allow small and specialist dairy and other food beverages to be packed. Producing products myself and organising products through other manufactures
Consulting
Working on special projects for major dairy processors for new product and market development
- Worked with Milk Link Ltd on the marketing of their Jersey & Guernsey milk including advising on the PDO application
- HMRC solicitors as an expert witness on a large brands positioning that had implications for its tax status
- Welsh Assembly government sponsored mentoring for food & drink businesses in Wales
Dairy market specific projects
- Assisting investment in new dairy sites and products
- Advising dairy companies on the best way to procure milk
- Assisting dairy farmers who want to sell milk directly to processors
- On-farm processing- process and marketing
- Helping with specialist advice and research on added-value dairy
- A milk pricing and procurement project, its one area where I have a lot of experience
- Packaging- following a career that has included Tetra Pak and numerous NPD projects that required packaging, I can offer real assistance on packing and filling
